The Board of Directors of REAC AB has appointed Mauritz Sahlin as its President. Current President Jan Dahlén will assume a new role within REAC, responsible for Business and Product Development.

Jan Dahlén has informed the Board of his intention to leave his position. The board has chosen to appoint Mauritz Sahlin as President.

“The background to my decision lies in a desire to focus on business and product development after almost 5 years as CEO of the REAC Group”, said Mr. Dahlén, “The past years has been intensive and challenging in many respects, as we’ve taken vital steps towards improving our competitiveness, and I’ve derived great satisfaction from working alongside all my committed colleagues. That’s why I’m so pleased to be able to keep contributing to REAC’s progress in my new role within the management team.”

“We’re very satisfied with Jan’s accomplishments, but understand his decision, and take a positive view of being able to collaborate with him in his new role. Meanwhile, with his international manufacturing experience and demonstrable leadership qualities, we view Mauritz as a strong driving-force with the right qualifications to take REAC forwards,” commented Henrik Johansson, Chairman of REAC.

“I have had a good introduction to the company, having worked with the integration of REAC Poland since late last year. This is a fantastic company with great possibilities. I look forward to working with all colleagues to continue to improve our products and processes,” said Mauritz in a first comment.

The strategy jointly prepared by the Board and company in the autumn, to secure and enhance REAC’s competitiveness for the long term, is unchanged.
