Inwido’s President and CEO Håkan Jeppsson comments on the fourth quarter and full-year 2016:

“This was Inwido’s best quarter to date. A fine end to a strong year. “

“Operating profit rose to SEK 227 million (185) and the operating margin rose to 13.3 percent (12.6). Sales increased by 16 percent to SEK 1,709 million.”

“Order bookings rose by 15 percent and the order backlog was 16 percent higher than at the same time last year.”

“For Inwido, 2016 was the strongest year to date, with total sales growth of 9 percent to SEK 5,672 million, while operating profit rose by 14 percent to SEK 673 million. The operating margin landed at 11.9 percent, very close to our official financial target of 12 percent. A good result. “

“The acquisitions we made in 2016 have brought annual sales of approximately SEK 900 million. All four developed positively over the quarter, which is very gratifying.”

“We continue to work towards our vision – improving life at home – while maintaining strong growth in terms of both sales and profitability, which is our priority. Based on the position we have managed to achieve in recent years, we are, on the whole, optimistic entering 2017.”
