CV Show, Stand 4G10, Hall 4, NEC, Birmingham – 29 April to 1 May 2014

Watford, April 29, 2014

Iveco’s comprehensive line-up of Daily light commercial vehicles, available in the UK in more than 7,000 different product variants, is represented at the CV Show by a high-specification 3.5 tonne Daily 35S17 van.

The Daily is making its final CV Show appearance in its current form, with the next generation model due to be unveiled at a major international launch in June 2014. For more information on New Daily, including exclusive preview images, visit http://goo.gl/cuXA5P.

On display

Finished in striking Platinum Silver, the Daily featured on the stand is built on a 3,310mm wheelbase offering a 12m³ loadspace which is fully ply-lined and features a non-slip phenolic coated ply floor. It features twin rear doors which can be opened 270 degrees wide, folding back against the side of the vehicle for optimum access. A sliding door is mounted on the left hand-side, although customers specifying a van from new can choose between right or left-hand side opening – or both.

It has been specified with Iveco’s ‘Top Pack’ – the top-of-the-range options package which delivers a premium experience for the driver and fleet operator. This adds cruise control, fog lights with in-built cornering function, air-conditioning with climate control and a suspended multi-adjustable driver’s seat.

Separately, the display vehicle benefits from front and rear mud flaps, a third brake light and a rear spotlight, to aid unloading and loading during hours of darkness. It also features a built-in Clarion NX502E entertainment centre, comprising a 6.2” high-resolution display with satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless remote control and a reversing camera with rear sensors.

Power comes from a 3.0 litre common rail FPT Industrial diesel engine which produces up to 170 hp and 400 Nm of torque. This versatile engine is built to tackle all possible working conditions effortlessly and safely, with generous reserves of torque available at all times.

All Iveco Daily customers benefit from a robust and versatile light commercial vehicle built with ‘Truck DNA’ – as opposed to being built on a car-derived chassis. Van customers also enjoy access to the same aftersales support enjoyed by Iveco truck fleets, including a nationwide dealer network collectively offering a 95% first-time MOT pass rate and a roadside rapid response time averaging just 48 minutes, 24/7. Many dealers in the network also offer 24-hour opening, enabling scheduled servicing to be carried out at night and on weekends.

Elsewhere at the Show

Also on display at the CV Show will be a series of other Iveco light commercial vehicles, including a Daily 70C17 chassis cab on the Strongs Plastic Products stand (5C10). This 7 tonne model will be mounted with an Acklea Traffic Management Body.

Separately, on the Ingimex stand (5G30), there will be a silver Platinum Daily 35C13 mounted with an Iveco DriveAway Options dropside body. This is one of a series of ready-bodied 3.5 tonne Dailys available directly from dealer forecourts and designed to enable operators to purchase a new light commercial vehicle and have it on the road almost immediately. DriveAway Options vehicles receive a comprehensive three year unlimited mileage warranty covering both the chassis and body.
