IVISYS delivers turnkey inspection system for turned items and receives follow-up order

IVISYS has delivered a full inspection system for a Swedish manufacturer, specialized in turning complex parts. IVISYS’ solution is capable of inspecting multiple regions on the same part—on various types of parts. In addition, the customer has placed a follow-up order on the existing order.
IVISYS has delivered a turnkey flaw detection and product verification system for a Swedish manufacturer of turned parts. The customer has a long track record of investing in new manufacturing methods and being a frontrunner with regards to adapting to new market demands.
The investment in an advanced IVISYS turnkey solution, powered by IVISYS’ Pro F and Pro V software modules, is right in line with this approach. The customer is striving to deliver items with zero defects to their end clients and the custom made IVISYS inspection system helps the company achieve an error rate with PPM figures, which are compliant with this objective.
The system is able to detect foreign objects, such as chips or scrap, even within a partially enclosed drilled hole. Furthermore, the system verifies key dimensions and metal-cutting elements of each object. As a default setting the system inspects four different kinds of objects, with varying specifications.
