Management and Supervisory Boards approved by a large majority

Berlin, 26 May 2016 – At this year’s general meeting of IVU Traffic Technologies AG shareholders have approved the Management and Supervisory Boards by a large majority. The shareholders present showed high levels of satisfaction with the consistently positive business development. In this anniversary year of the company’s foundation, IVU looks back on steady growth in revenues.

The 2015 financial year has been the most successful since IVU’s flotation on the stock market in 2000. For the current year the order books are also well-filled. The IVU Management Board has indicated a positive outlook for the coming months. Important incoming orders are anticipated from ongoing tenders in the rail sector, among others.

“We are very well-positioned with our products,” states IVU Management Board member Dr Helmut Bergstein. “In the previous year, our integrated solution IVU.rail has developed especially well.” In order to expand on its strong market position, IVU is investing further in sales and product development. With IVU.cloud and IVU.pad, two new solutions for the digitalisation of transport companies have been recently introduced.

“For 40 years IVU has been developing systems for public transport; and doing so very successfully,” emphasises Martin Müller-Elschner, CEO of IVU Traffic Technologies AG. Today the Berlin based company is represented in 15 locations worldwide. Müller-Elschner refers in particular to numerous long-standing customer relationships: “Our customers have trust in us. We take pride in that.”

IVU Traffic Technologies AG has been working for 40 years with some 400 software engineers to ensure that transport in the world’s major cities operates reliably and on time. People and vehicles in expanding cities are continually on the move – a logistical challenge which calls for intelligent and reliable software systems. The standardised software products of the IVU.suite and tailor-made IT solutions are used to plan, optimise and control the scheduling of vehicle fleets and personnel. Other systems support the choice of branch locations or ensure that election results are determined correctly.
