LightLab Sweden AB and Jie Sheng Green (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., sign a letter of intent

LightLab Sweden AB (“LightLab”), a company that develops affordable, energy efficient and environmentally friendly lighting technology which is free from mercury or other hazardous substances, and Jie Sheng Green (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. (“Jie Sheng”), a green tech company based in Yixing, Jiangsu Province, China, have signed a letter of intent.

Jie Sheng and LightLab have agreed to investigate the possibility of establishing the production of lighting products based on LightLab’s unique environmentally friendly lighting technology. More specifically, the parties have agreed to explore the possibility of starting pilot production of bulb lamps for general indoor lighting.

“LightLab are developing an environmentally friendly, energy efficient technology for general lighting, which has great potential to replace existing lighting technologies like incandescent and CFLs in China,” says Mr. Xia, Chairman of the Jiangsu Qiangsheng Group, of which Jie Sheng is part. “We are now developing business plans and manufacturing options together with LightLab. Our common objective is to get products to the market during 2013.”
