First images of Jean Paul Gaultier for Lindex
Lindex is teaming up with iconic designer Jean Paul Gaultier for autumn, presenting a collection that interprets the designer’s codes and signature prints. Now the first three campaign images, featuring the iconic Gaultier model Karen Elson are being released.
”The collection represents a small wardrobe by Gaultier, with my typical codes but interpreted in a new way. There is the classic sailor stripe as well as the more graphic one, in some pieces combined with a tattoo print which is a favourite of mine”, says Jean Paul Gaultier.
The jean Paul Gaultier for Lindex collection covers ladies-, kids-, and underwear as well as accessories. Besides prints, the collection also consists of elaborate details such as zippers and the classic cone shape with references to the one and only Madonna.
”Making a collection like this is a challenge but a very positive one. It allows me to see other people that I don't work with usually, it also allows me to make my clothes at a price level that is affordable", says Jean Paul Gaultier.
For the twelfth year Lindex is taking part in the fight against breast cancer, this year by donating 10% of the sales price from the Jean Paul Gaultier for Lindex collection to breast cancer research. There will also be a Pink Bracelet in the collection, from which the whole profit will be donated to breast cancer research.
The Jean Paul Gaultier for Lindex collection will be released in selected Lindex stores and at lindex.com on October 8th.
