New Chief Financial Officer of Lindex

Peter Andersson has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer of the Lindex
Group. He comes from ICA Handlarnas AB, in which he was Head of Control, IT
and Administration within the perishables operation. Peter Andersson was
previously Head of Administration of ICA Specialvaror AB, Göteborg.

Peter Andersson succeeds Anders Niklasson who died in June 1999. He will join
Lindex not later than 1 January 2000.

"Peter Andersson is eminently compatible with the leadership profile existing
within the Lindex Group," says Lindex's President and CEO, Hans Johansson, in
a comment.
