Scientia strengthens management team with appointment of Mohamad Djahanbakhsh as its Group Chief Executive

Scientia, the global leader in timetabling and resource management solutions for the Higher Education sector, has appointed Mohamad Djahanbakhsh as Group Chief Executive.  In his new role, Mr Djahanbakhsh will be responsible for sustaining the company’s year on year revenue growth, as well as supporting, enhancing and further strengthening Scientia’s rapid growth in existing international markets.  Helping institutions optimise their usage of increasingly hard pressed resources, using Scientia’s state-of-the art solutions, will be top of the agenda.

Mr Djahanbakhsh brings with him extensive experience, considerable business acumen and technical know-how gained working at FTSE 100 companies Serco and Capita, where he held positions as Managing Director and Business Director.  “At Serco and Capita I was very much focussed on ‘customer centric’ solutions, as will be the case at Scientia,” he said.  “We welcome feedback from Scientia customers worldwide and will continue to develop our products and tailor them to their exact needs.  I look forward to helping Scientia develop ever more effective and dependable timetabling and resource management solutions and to providing quality customer support and consultancy.”
