Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association and Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation to Host Aspire Gala in Baltimore

Event to feature Andre Dawson, Rollie Fingers, Goose Gossage, Fergie Jenkins, Eddie Murray and Cal Ripken, Jr.

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association and Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation will host the Aspire Gala featuring Hall of Famers, former MLB All-Stars, World Series champions and other alumni. The event will take place on Friday, February 12th with proceeds benefitting the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation.

Alumni players attending* the event include Hall of Famers Andre Dawson, Rollie Fingers, Goose Gossage, Fergie Jenkins, Eddie Murray and Cal Ripken, Jr., as well as Jim Coates, Doug Creek, Jack Fisher, Chuck Goggin, Ross Grimsley, Jim Hannan, Ron Hansen, Brian Kowitz, Dave Johnson, Derrick May, Joe Orsulak, Billy Ripken, Steve Rogers, Tony Saunders, Don Stanhouse, BJ Surhoff, Bill Swaggerty and Fred Valentine.

The gala will take place at the Baltimore Waterfront Marriott, starting with cocktails and a silent auction at 5:30 p.m. located at 700 Aliceanna St., Baltimore, MD 21202. The event will continue at 7:00 p.m. with a dinner program.
