Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings “Swing with the Legends” Golf Classic to Cincinnati, OH

Golf tournament to feature Darrell Evans, Jim O’Toole and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will be hosting a “Swing with the Legends” celebrity golf tournament featuring former Cincinnati Reds, MLB All-Stars and other alumni. The event will take place on Monday, June 9th, 2014. Proceeds will benefit the Miracle League, a charity that offers athletes with or without disabilities the opportunity to have fun and participate in an organized and competitive league.

Alumni players attending* the event include two-time All-Star and World Series champion Darrell Evans and nine-year Cincinnati Reds alum Jim O’Toole, as well as Zach Day, Leo Foster, Thomas Kramer, Hal Naragon, Daniel Neville, Ronald Nischwitz, Ron Robinson, Fred Scherman, Pete Shier, Walt Terrell, Jon Warden, Chris Welsh, Scott Williamson and Kip Young.

The tournament will take place at Oasis Country Club, starting with registration at 9:00 a.m. located at 902 Loveland Miamiville Road, Loveland, OH 45140. Player introductions will begin at 10:30 a.m., with the shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. The day will end with an awards reception at 5:00 p.m.
