Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Brings "Swing with the Legends" Golf Classic to Hutto, TX

Golf tournament to feature Gary Bell, Cliff Johnson and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will host a “Swing with the Legends” celebrity golf tournament featuring former MLB All-Stars, World Series champions and other alumni. The event will take place on Saturday, September 6th with proceeds benefitting Central Texas Ability Sports.

Alumni players attending* the event include three-time All-Star Gary Bell and two-time World Series champion Cliff Johnson, as well as Tom Boggs, Micah Bowie, Clay Condrey, Ray Crone, Jerry DaVanon, Odie Davis, Bart Evans, Jim Foor, Scott Fredrickson, Adrian Garrett, Brett Gideon, Charles Gipson, Doug Gwosdz, Bill Heath, Joe Keough, Nathan Minchey, Wally Moon, John Sevcik, Michael Smith, Walter Williams and Patrick Zachry.

The tournament will take place at the Golf Club at Star Ranch, starting with registration at 11:00 a.m. located at 2500 FM 685, Hutto, TX 78634. The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by an awards dinner at 6:30 p.m.
