Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association Presents Ollie's Bargain Outlet Golf Classic in Harrisburg, PA

Golf tournament to feature Cal Ripken Jr., Brooks Robinson, Eddie Murray and other MLB Alumni

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will host the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet celebrity golf tournament featuring Hall of Famers, former Orioles, Phillies and Pirates, MLB All-Stars, Gold Glove and Silver Slugger award winners and other alumni. The golf tournament will take place on Thursday, September 17th. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation.

Alumni players attending* the event include Hall of Famers Rollie Fingers, Fergie Jenkins, Eddie Murray, Phil Niekro, Jim Rice, Cal Ripken, Jr., Brooks Robinson and Ozzie Smith, as well as Bob Boone, Al Bumbry, Jim Coates, Doug Creek, Darrell Evans, Rene Gonzales, Tommy Greene, Ross Grimsley, Kevin Gryboski, Ron Hansen, Chris Hoiles, Mike McCormick, Scott McGregor, Jamie Moyer, Graig Nettles, Dickie Noles, Reggie Sanders, BJ Surhoff, John Stearns, Bill Swaggerty, Mike Timlin and Don Wert.

The event will take place at the Colonial Golf and Tennis Club, located at 4901 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112, with a press event for Hall of Fame attendees at 9:30 a.m. followed by tee off at 11:00 a.m. After the tournament there will be an awards dinner, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
