Botnia's forestry activity in Uruguay has been integrated under one name,
Forestal Oriental. The combined activity includes the land holdings and
forestry operations of Compañia Forestal Oriental S.A. (FOSA) based in Paysandú
and the wood harvesting and export activities of Tile Forestal lead from
Montevideo.

The new entity will focus on capacity building and cost-efficiency to service
the Fray Bentos pulp mill raw material needs from 2007 and onwards. At the same
time it is expected to continue the current successful export operations.

The combined activities have a new brand identity which builds on the
inheritance and values of both companies.
