Lars Klang appointed head of Metsä-Botnia Kaskinen Pulp Mill

Lars Klang (47) has been appointed Director of Kaskinen pulp mill with effect
from 1 August 2001 following the appointment of Ilkka Hämälä to the post of
Director, Production. Lars Klang will take up his new post from Fortum, where
he was Managing Director for Fortum Service Kaakkois-Suomi Oy. 


Lars Klang graduated from the University of Oulu in 1980, where he majored in
control and systems technology. He subsequently held managerial and consulting
posts in companies engaged in maintenance and installation for the process and
power generating industries. He gained international experience by serving as
Director of Fortum Service O&M in Indonesia in 1997-1999. 

Lars Klang will report to Ilkka Hämälä, Director, Production.
