Esa Kaikkonen appointed Metsä Group’s Executive Vice President, Strategy

LL.M. Esa Kaikkonen has been appointed Metsä Group’s Executive Vice President, Strategy as of March 1, 2017. Kaikkonen continues also in his current role as Executive Vice President, Metsä Wood. He is a member of Metsä Group’s Executive Management Team and reports to President and CEO Kari Jordan.

Before his position as Executive Vice President, Metsä Wood, Kaikkonen worked as Metsä Group’s General Counsel during 2003–2012.

Metsä Group’s Executive Vice President, Strategy since 2006 Hannu Anttila, will retire on May 1, 2017.
