Deregulation leads to competitive marketplace for independent energy providers
Stamford, CT – April 5, 2011 – More than 1 million Pennsylvanian home and business owners have made the switch from traditional utility service to independent, competitive electricity providers as of March 30, 2011, according to the Retail Energy Supply Association (RESA.) RESA also notes the trend does not just hold true in Pennsylvania but across the nation, with millions more switching nationwide in competitive deregulated markets.

With a volatile energy market, competition can offer protection as well.
