Bake Sales, Races and Other Fund Raising Activities Can Now Be Tracked Using MyJobChart.com

MyJobChart.com Founder and CEO Gregg Murset announced this morning that Cookies For Kids’ Cancer, an organization dedicated to providing more money for research of childhood cancer, will become the newest featured charity for members of the fastest growing online jobs and rewards website for kids. Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children and adolescents in the United States with approximately 13,500 children and adolescents 18 and under diagnosed with cancer each year, and more than 30,000 in treatment at any given time.

Starting immediately, kids enrolled in MyJobChart.com will be able to complete their assigned jobs and make donations to Cookies For Kids’ Cancer. Additionally, parents or grandparents can choose to match the donation by using the MJC donation portal. MyJobChart.com will make an additional donation to Cookies For Kids’ Cancer for each new member that enrolls through the link http://myjobchart.com/cobrand/cookies as a way to give back and support such a worthy cause.

“You can’t help but get excited when you are working with anyone from Cookies For Kids’ Cancer,” said Murset. “Teaming with Cookies For Kids’ Cancer is a fantastic fit especially since their grassroots campaigns generally involve kids doing something to help raise money for other kids in need. MyJobChart.com is the perfect tool for parents and kids planning a fund raising event or completing projects around the house in order to make a donation.”

Through the concept of grassroots bake sales and other fundraising events, as well as online cookie sales, Cookies for Kids’ Cancer provides the support and inspiration for anyone, anywhere to join the fight against childhood cancer. Cookies for Kids’ Cancer has granted more than $5 million to childhood cancer research, funding dozens of research projects and helping nine promising new treatments advance to clinical trial, where children are receiving them today.

"Cookies for Kids' Cancer is thrilled to team up with My Job Chart to inspire kids across the country to Be a Good Cookie while doing their chores,” said Cookies for Kids’ Cancer Founder Gretchen Witt. “Our shared love of kids and passion for making a difference makes My Job Chart a natural fit.”

About Cookies For Kids’ Cancer
Founded in 2008 by parents inspired by their young son’s courageous battle, Cookies for Kids' Cancer is a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for childhood cancer research. Today, cancer is the leading cause of death by disease of children in the U.S., due in large part to a lack of funding for research to find less toxic, more effective therapies.
