NCC has sold a 77 apartment housing project in Bonn, Germany, for SEK 150 million to the German pension fund Industria Wohnen.

“We are very happy that Industria Wohnen has chosen NCC for the fourth time for the development in the city of Bonn. Germany is an important market for our residential business and this is in line with our business strategy to sell more rental packages to investors”, says Joachim Hallengren, Business Area Manager for NCC Housing.

The project comprises four buildings with 77 rental units built according to the energy standard KfW 70 which means they use 30 percent less energy than legally required. The development is based on NCC’s building systems concept for residential construction with good sustainable performance; enabling a cost effective and high quality production process for making affordable rental flats possible.

The development is complimented by both underground parking and additional outdoor spaces. Also planned is a car-sharing system which reduces the need for parking lots.

The Beuel district in Bonn, where the apartments are located, is one of the most attractive areas with a wide range of cultural activities, closeness to green areas and good infrastructural connection.

Transfer and earnings recognition will occur on completion in the NCC Housing business area, during the third quarter 2016.
