NCC is divesting the Önskebrunnen logistics project in Brunna for an agreed property value of approximately SEK 150 million. The buyer is NREP Logicenters.

Önskebrunnen is the second phase of the Brunna Logistics Park in the Municipality of Upplands Bro outside Stockholm. The property has a total leasable area of about 14,400 square meters, of which about 3,000 square meters have been leased prior to the divestment.

“Önskebrunnen is another successful logistics projects in Upplands Bro. Development of the Brunna Logistics Park is a typical example of our ambition to be a leading player in the development of attractive and sustainable logistics properties,” says Carola Lavén, Business Area Manager, NCC Property Development.

The transaction will be conducted as a company divestment, with an underlying property value of SEK 150 million. No rental guarantees are included in the divestment, which is expected to have a positive impact on NCC Property Development’s earnings in Q3 2017.

“NREP Logicenters has already acquired land in Brunna, where we have now started constructing our own facility. The acquisition of NCC’s property will allow us to offer potential customers flexibility and a fast solution while we are developing our own larger facilities in the area, which they can grow into at a later stage. This is part of being able to support our customers in their growth,” says Matthias Kettelhoit, Commercial Head of Logicenters.

The Brunna Logistics Park has prime conditions for warehousing and logistics. Proximity to Stockholm and a strategic location next to the E18 highway provide easy access and excellent signage opportunities. NCC has developed several logistics projects in Brunna and has now commenced planning for the next phase.

NCC aims to minimize the project’s environmental impact and the property is certified according to the BREEAM international assessment method and rating system.
