Joint-initiative between media transport specialist and Beta-Service

NATEXPO, stand B21, 7 November 2013 Media transport specialist Nevion has opened a service center in Moscow to provide support for its customers in the region. The new base is a joint-initiative between Nevion and Beta-Service, a Russian professional broadcast service and maintenance provider.

Nevion’s full suite of professional broadcast and media transport solutions for IP, optical and terrestrial networks will now be supported via the new structure. These solutions are helping broadcasters and service providers prepare for the next generation of media transport over any network, from acquisition to the home.

Kjetil Bonde, Nevion’s svp of sales for Europe said, “This new service center means that Nevion can now support both its existing and new customers locally in Russia, which is especially important with Sochi looming on the horizon. In Beta-Service we’ve found a partner that is well respected within the market, and appreciates and understands our media transport solutions.”

Igor Korotaev, general manager of Beta-Service added: “Nevion’s media transport solutions lead the field so we’re delighted to be partnering with them to work with and support customers from our service center here in Moscow.”

In addition to the launch of the new service center, Nevion is bringing its industry-leading media transport solutions to NATEXPO in Russia. The show runs from 19-21 November 2013 and visitors can see Nevion’s latest solutions for video over IP, optical networks and digital terrestrial television on stand B21 in Hall 8 at Moscow’s Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center.
