Increase in share capital

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement dated 26 October 2012 regarding the resolution by the extraordinary general meeting in Norwegian Energy Company ASA ("Noreco" or the "Company", ticker "NOR") to increase the share capital in the Company following the private placement comprising the issuance of 108,108,108 new shares.
The share capital increase pertaining to the private placement has now been registered with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. The new registered share capital of Noreco is NOK 1,091,048,168.20 divided into 351,951,022 shares, each with a nominal value of NOK 3.10. The new shares will be immediately listed on Oslo Børs.
