NRC GROUP ASA - APPOINTED TO A CONTRACT IN NORWAY - NOK 360 MILLION

Oslo Kommune Bymiljøetaten has appointed NRC Norge AS, a company wholly owned by NRC Group ASA, to a contract for the rehabilitation of Storgata in Oslo.

The project is part of Sporveien’s tram and investment program (The Tram Program) and comprises the procurement of 87 new trams, infrastructure and tram track upgrades, and development work at the tram bases. The Tram Program has a cost framework of NOK 4.1 billion approved by Oslo City Council.

The project will involve street improvement works and tram infrastructure upgrades, as well as modernising parts of the water and wastewater network.

The contract is valued at approximately NOK 360 million. The contract will involve rail services such as track, electro and groundwork, and the work will commence in November 2018 and the project is scheduled for completion in July 2021.

Closing date for submission of complaints is 10 days from today, and formal contractual signing can take place after this period at the earliest.
