Mount Laurel, NJ (Jan. 18, 2017) OKI Data Americas – a world-class printing technology leader – introduces the C532dn, a transitional desktop color printer, and the MC573dn, a high-quality smart color multi-function printer (MFP), offering small and mid-size businesses (SMBs) a new level of scalability, security and HD printing with a low total cost of ownership.

“Businesses continue to rank high-definition output, security and IT efficiency at the top of their printing needs,” said Tina Tuccillo, Vice President of Marketing for Office Products at OKI Data Americas. “In 2017, we anticipate these needs to continue, but with a greater focus on operating cost. Our color printer and MFP will help SMBs get back to business this year, offering a unique level of flexibility while allowing companies to keep an eye on the bottom line.”

New Printer and MFP Built for Flexibility and Scalability

The C532dn and MC573dn are flexible enough to address the demanding needs of a growing business, maintaining functionality for a longer lifespan through:

  • A wide range of media capabilities, including up to 52" banner printing and a variety of heavy paper stock options
  • Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) compliance, ensuring documents are safely sent and received
  • Private Print and optional Card Release, ensuring confidentiality of documents
  • Google Cloud Print 2.0 and Apple AirPrint™ ready, enabling printing on the move
  • Optional trays, increasing paper capacity up to 1,410 sheets, as well as a cabinet for a floor-standing configuration, providing optimal scalability

The flexibility built into the features of these new printers enables businesses to easily reallocate the devices to other departments or functions that need printing support, creating cost savings for the business as it grows.

The fast and reliable C532dn color printer boasts OKI LED technology, a powerful new engine and a quiet mode. It is easy to set up and get started, and as new features become available, the device can be automatically updated via the OKI portal.

The MC573dn smart MFP also utilizes reliable OKI LED print technology, producing excellent HD color output with a customizable scan/print document platform and secure cloud integration. It features SENDYS Document Explorer Lite with optional connectivity to Office 365™, Google Drive™ and Dropbox™, making document management simpler for the user. It also touts an easy-to-use interface and unique self-help functionality for hassle-free maintenance, enabling users to troubleshoot the machine from a simple 7” touch panel while easing the burden on a company's IT support team.

Part of OKI’s New Portfolio of Printers for SMBs

The C532dn and MC573dn enhance OKI Data Americas’ latest portfolio of color printers and MFPs launched in November 2016: the MC363dn, C332dn, C612 Series and the C712dn.

“Our competitive line of color printers and MFPs have unique functionalities that are specifically designed with the user in mind,” added Tuccillo. “Ultimately, these capabilities allow for great efficiencies across the entire organization, all the way from IT to the end user – saving time and money.”
