Leading OEMs select Opera for new mobile handsets

Oslo, Norway - June 9, 2008 - Opera Software today announced that several OEMs have introduced new handsets featuring the Opera Mobile browser, all running on the Windows Mobile operating system.

Samsung has introduced the Samsung Omnia, a touchscreen smartphone. Internet surfing with Opera Mobile is at the heart of this device. In addition comes advanced video, camera and music capabilities.

HTC has introduced the HTC Touch Pro, another full Internet-enabled handset featuring the Opera Mobile browser.

Motorola has introduced a new version of its MOTO Q9, the MOTO Q9e. It also runs Opera Mobile as its default Web browser.
