Operation Lifesaver values its safety partnership with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and other transit agencies across the country. We look forward to working with the MTA to raise awareness about rail and transit safety among motorists, pedestrians, and transit riders. Effective public rail safety education can help prevent railroad crossing collisions, as well as trespassing- and train platform-related injuries and fatalities. We are pleased to have the opportunity to help the MTA enhance their education and outreach programs in New York and Connecticut.”
