Consolidation of operations in the Swedish equipment division

Opus Group’s subsidiary Opus Bima AB will be transferred to Opus Equipment AB. Opus Group’s subsidiary J&B Maskinteknik AB will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Opus Equipment AB. The restructuring is expected to be completed by April 1, 2013 and is implemented in order to streamline the Swedish equipment operations and to take advantage of synergies between the various companies.

Opus Group has decided to implement a restructuring of the Swedish equipment business. The operations of Opus Bima AB will be transferred to Opus Equipment AB. After the transition, the operations previously run by Opus Bima will be operated by Opus Equipment. Opus Bima’s brand will still be used towards customers. Opus Bima AB becomes a dormant company after the transition.

In connection with the restructuring, Opus Group’s subsidiary J&B Maskinteknik AB becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Opus Equipment AB. Both the transition of Opus Bima’s operations and the restructuring of J&B Maskinteknik AB is expected to be completed by April 1, 2013.

“We have a positive view on the restructuring of the Swedish equipment business. This will result in a more efficient organization where it will be easier to exploit synergies between the different companies, which will lead to positive effects for both the equipment division and the Group”, says Jörgen Hentschel, CEO of Opus Equipment AB and Head of the Equipment Division.
