Frisco, Texas, May 29, 2012 – OxySure® Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:OXYS) (“OxySure”), the pioneering manufacturer of life-saving easy-to-use emergency oxygen solutions with its “oxygen from powder” technology and a registered United Nations Vendor, congratulates Peacekeepers throughout the world on this International Peacekeepers Day.

The United Nations General Assembly designated May 29 as International Peacekeepers Day to honor the memory of fallen UN peacekeepers and pay tribute to the men and women serving in peacekeeping and other post-conflict operations for their dedication and courage in the face of war and brutality.

“One of OxySure’s goals in completing its vendor registration with the United Nations is to help protect the lives of peacekeepers and the local populations that they have been deployed to serve with our portable, safe and easy-to-use emergency oxygen from powder solution,” said Julian Ross, CEO of OxySure. “We believe that our signature Model 615 will demonstrate its effectiveness to peacekeeping operations under difficult conditions.”

To date, OxySure has been granted registration by the UN Procurement Division (UNPD), UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL).

Model 615 is safe and easy to operate, and is specifically designed for use by untrained rescuers before professional medical help arrives on the scene. It requires no battery or power source, which allows it to be used in remote areas or areas where power is otherwise not available. UN peacekeepers frequently work and live in such difficult conditions around the world.
