* Production based on Working Interest, which is PA Resources’ share of the total gross production of the oil fields before deduction of royalty and taxes etc. Production figures are preliminary.

  • Total oil production in Q2, 2013:                             435,100 barrels
  • Average sales price in Q2, 2013:                            103 USD per barrel (preliminary)
  • Subject to the necessary approvals, PA Resources working interest in the Didon field in Tunisia has reduced from 100% to 30% through the farm-out transaction with EnQuest. Hence, the production numbers have been retrospectively adjusted to a 30% interest as per 1 January 2013.
  • As previously advised production at the Aseng field is affected by limitations on the production vessel's gas handling capacity. During June, production was also affected by a workover on a gas injection well, which caused a small further reduction of oil production rates.
  • The production from the Didon field was shut down on 1 July to allow the Didon FSO vessel to under-go comprehensive recertification work programme plus upgrades. Production is estimated to be restarted in mid-September. This maintenance related production shortfall in Q3 is expected to be partly compensated by higher production in Q4.
