Did Prince Harry pick the winner of the Tour de France?

At the opening of the Tour de France in Harrogate, a kitchen showroom owner was forced to close for the day and discovered a prime 'pick' of Harry

As the sun shone in Harrogate, the crowded streets were alive with high-spirited people cheering on participants at the cadence of annual cycling race the Tour de France. Traffic disrupted and roads closed; many local businesses were forced to close for the day. Entering the spirit of things, the director of the Kitchen Warehouse UK Ltd, Daniel Beadle decided to join the masses and enjoy the bike race; whipping out his camera to snap the day's events.

Amongst the many royal spotters, Daniel snapped pictures of Princes Harry and William along with Princess  Kate stepping back into the royal helicopter after seeing the race get going.  Scrolling through his snaps at suppertime, he spotted the youngest prince was picking his nose! When Mr. Beadle joked with friends that perhaps Harry had picked the winner of the day, a passing photographer overheard the joke and asked to buy the pictures.

When asked to comment on the day's events, Mr. Beadle simply said that despite making some loss on the week's profits "it's superb that the roads I travel down on a daily basis will be on millions of televisions across the world. It was surreal enough seeing the echelons of Prince William and Kate here, following the celebration of the royal wedding just 3 years ago. But seeing 'the Captain' Harry standing right next to the helicopter going á bloc with his finger was funny!" As the race moved South to Sheffield today, Daniel said, "it was great to be a part of memorable historical event and seeing the Grand Depart was fun too!"

Sadly, British sprinter Mark Cavendish, who had hoped to win the opening stage due to Harrogate being his mother's home town; crashed close to the finish. You could say he blew it, as Harry picked it!

As the race carries on throughout England and ends in Paris, there are 18 more stages to be seen yet, and unlike the Prince's nose, much of the terrain covered will be relatively unexplored!

Welcome to Kitchen Warehouse UK ltd. We are a Yorkshire based kitchen company situated on the A61 between Ripon and Thirsk 20 miles north of Leeds. We are 1 mile off the A1 at junction 50 towards Ripon, we are situated 1 mile along on the left hand side. We are a manufacturer of very high quality kitchen units.

We supply replacement kitchen doors and complete kitchens direct to the public at wholesale prices. All of our kitchen units are extremely high quality and are at an incredibly reasonable price for the standard of product that we offer. We strongly recommend a visit to our showroom as the kitchens speak for themselves once you see them in person, as the pictures on the internet do not do them justice.

Many of our customers are kitchen fitters, property developers, kitchen showrooms, high quality independent building contractors, kitchen design studios and of course general public. Please do not think that our kitchens are a cheap trade product that you may find for a similar price elsewhere. We are selling the same quality of kitchens, if not better than you will find in many city center designer kitchen studio's and those up market high street kitchen showrooms that you thought you could not afford or just refused to pay. You can buy that same level of quality for a fraction of the cost direct from us.
