Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, UK – 23rd March 2010 – As part of a weekend of celebrations that are being held at the Conkers visitor attraction in the National Forest, the National Brewery Centre’s new Shire horses will be making a guest appearance. Taking place at the Conkers attraction in Moira, near Swadlincote, on the Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th March 2010, the public will, for the first time, be able to meet the pair - a yearling colt and a two-year old gelding. John Lowther, chief executive of Planning Solutions Ltd, the company behind the new world-class visitor attraction explained: “Since the two Shires arrived at the Centre’s stables on the 10th March, we’ve been inundated by enquiries from members of the public who are desperate to meet the horses.” “As the National Brewery Centre won’t be open until the 1st May 2010, this is the perfect opportunity for people to meet the magnificent duo. They really are stunning and I’m pleased to say that they have settled into their new home really well. Lucy, Rachel and Andrew - the team who look after them - have done a great job in making them feel at home.” For further information on their appearance at Conkers, please visit the website www.visitconkers.com ENDS Notes for News Desk: Planning Solutions Ltd Planning Solutions Ltd is privately-owned British company that specialises in the operation of leisure businesses, which includes the popular Conkers visitor attraction in the National Forest.
