Spooky Goings On at Conkers this Halloween

Moira, nr. Swadlincote – On Saturday 30th October 2010, the award-winning Conkers attraction in the heart of the National Forest, is playing host to a spooky evening’s entertainment to mark the creepiest night of the year. The Conkers Halloween Party, offers visitors of all ages, a fun-packed evening of fiendish activities and ghoulish experiences throughout a dense forest setting. There will be a ghost train running through the park, an ugly bugs disco, craft activities, a fancy dress competition, plus an eerie forest trail to test the nerves of the bravest of souls. Chris Sturdy, general manager, said: “This has become an annual event and one that is great fun for all of the family.” “The team here really get into the ‘spirit’ of things and dress up in scary costumes to add that little extra excitement throughout the evening.” Tickets for the event, which starts at 6pm and finishes at 10.30pm, are already on sale and are proving to be popular.
