Peab builds 160 apartments in Uppsala

Peab has been commissioned to build Bäcklösa stage 2 which is included in the blanket contract with Uppsalahem AB. The contract is worth SEK 250 million.

The project is located in Bäcklösa which lies in the southern part of Uppsala and it is the second block in the new city district. It consists of two lower apartment buildings and three tower blocks with plaster facades. The apartments are primarily two or three rooms and a kitchen.

Construction is expected to start in the autumn and the final apartments are expected to be ready for occupation by the end of 2020.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter of 2017.
