Peab builds a new highway in Skåne

Peab has been contracted to build a new stretch of the E22 past Linderödsåsen in the middle of Skåne. The customer is Swedish Transport Administration and the contract amounts to SEK 152 million.

Peab's mission includes the construction of 6.5 km of new highway realignment and construction of intersecting individuals and public roads, as well as six new bridges.

Construction will commence in spring 2016 and the project is scheduled for completion in summer 2018th

The new route is part of the Swedish Transport Administration's effort to expand E22 through Skåne. The expansion means that the road will be safer and better environment for those living along the current road. The project also helps to develop the business and increase labor mobility within the Øresund Region.

The project will be reported in the fourth quarter of 2015.
