Peab builds a new train depot in Eskilstuna

Peab has been commissioned to build a new train depot in Eskilstuna. The customer is Eskilstuna Municipality and the contract is worth SEK 399 million.

The commission is a turnkey contract with partnering. Construction will begin immediately and is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2018.

“We are very happy to have been given the opportunity to build the new depot together with Eskilstuna. It’s an exciting project which, in addition to construction and civil engineering, includes train track work,” says Bengt Johansson, Region Manager Peab.

The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter of 2016.
