Peab to Build 344 Apartments in Uppsala
Peab has been contracted to build 344 new apartments in the residential Rosendal, Uppsala. The client is Rosendal Estate and the contract amounts to SEK 342 million.
The assignment includes a building with 344 apartments of 27-50 square meters spread over six floors. Most of the apartments have a ceiling height of 3.7 meters and a loft of about 14 sqm. The building will also host a grocery store, restaurant, gym and office. The building's rooftop terrace includes a 200 meters running track, court for street basketball and sun stairs.

The project is a turnkey contract. The work will begin immediately and is scheduled for completion by summer 2017.
The project will be reported in the first quarter of 2015.
