PowerCell has received a strategically important order from a global automotive OEM

PowerCell Sweden AB (publ) has received a strategically important order from a global automotive OEM for PowerCell S3 fuel cell stacks and MS-100 fuel cell system for testing and evaluation. The order value amounts to more than MSEK 3.

This order represents a natural extension of PowerCell’s cooperation with leading OEMs for the development and production of fuel cell technology for automotive applications.

“We are delighted to receive this important order from this particular OEM. The order is a testament to the strength of PowerCell's fuel cell technology for automotive application and our ability to successfully work with global OEMs”, states Per Wassén, CEO of PowerCell Sweden AB.

The order value amounts to more than MSEK 3 and deliveries will start during Q2 2018.

PowerCell S3 (100 kW) is a fuel cell stack with best-in-class power density and is primarily designed for automotive application. PowerCell MS-100 is a mobile system that is based on the PowerCell S3. The compact design makes them easy to integrate in vehicles of different types. The stack and the system are based on industrial components which makes them suitable for volume production.
