Pavese Law Firm partner Christina Harris Schwinn will lead a presentation on strategic planning against employment discrimination and unemployment claims to mitigate a company’s financial exposure. Presented by Lykes Insurance, Schwinn’s seminar will cover good hiring practices, counseling and employee misconduct, and proper employment termination procedures.

Business owners, human resource managers and others with an interest in learning about the legal implications of these topics as well as strategies for reducing exposure to liability are invited to attend.  The event is part of the 2013 Lykes Insurance Excelleration Learning Series and will be held at Lykes Insurance, 5216 Summerlin Commons Blvd. in Fort Myers. The cost is $20 per participant and proceeds will benefit the Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA).
