KMWE Group, a leading supplier and partner for both the aerospace and high tech equipment industries, has chosen data centre and cloud service provider Proact to improve its IT availability. In order to support business operations, KMWE has chosen a round-the-clock monitoring service from Proact for selected infrastructure components, which will allow the company to deliver a faster, more reliable and scalable infrastructure environment.

Proact proposed a solution based on enterprise-class technology combined with 24x7 proactive management and support, via Proact’s Managed Cloud Services. Thanks to real-time monitoring of the on-premise environment, KMWE can be reassured that potential problems are resolved before they become harmful and costly to the business, thus optimising availability and reducing risk. In addition to this management service, KMWE also selected Proact’s Premium Support to provide incident alerts across the environment.

By choosing from Proact’s proven portfolio of Managed Cloud Services, which have been helping companies deliver business agility for the last decade, KMWE no longer has to deploy resources to keep the infrastructure running. Instead, the organisation is able to focus on strategy and innovation, concentrating on strategic projects that can add value to the business. In addition, the continued growth of the organisation can easily be controlled due to the scalable features of the new solution.

Boris van den Reek, IT management at KMWE, says: “Proact was recommended to us by one of our other providers who had a lot of confidence in their capabilities. It became clear that Proact had great experience with similar sized organisations within our industry, which was a big plus. Proact offered us exactly what we were looking for: proactive and preventive management of our infrastructure environment.”
Sander Dekker, Business Unit Director Europe West at Proact, says: “KMWE, a company which has technology as its core business, is a great match with our technical heart. It’s great to add value to a company like this and we’re looking forward to continuing our partnership.”

Dekker continues: “Proact’s Managed Cloud Services are all engineered to be secure, available and flexible and were therefore the perfect fit for KMWE’s needs. We’re looking forward to helping KMWE improve service levels while in-turn reducing cost and risk, and we ultimately aim to become an effective virtual extension of the internal IT department.”
