ProfilGruppen initiate negotiations regarding reduction of working hours
ProfilGruppen has today initiated negotiations with the unions regarding reduction of working hours.
The intention is that the reduction of working hours will affect all employees in Sweden. It is intended to be implemented on the 1st of October 2012 and to be effective until the end of February 2013. The action is caused by a lower demand from the European market for aluminium profiles and will be terminated earlier than scheduled if the demand increases.
“We now see a decreasing market and have to adapt the organisation and our costs accordingly. At the same time we see positively upon the future and want, as far as it is possible, keep the important competence that we have within the company and therefore we are looking for a collective reduction of the working hours.” says CEO Anders Frisinger.
