World’s leading professional racing simulator company introduces new race telemetry and data analysis software; new opportunity for customer give-aways and to encourage repeat business.

Cruden will present exciting new simulator software capabilities to the attractions market on booth 1847 at the International Association of Amusements Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo (November 15th-18th) in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Thanks to modern, interactive racing TV coverage, attractions guests are increasingly familiar with professional telemetry as used by top level race teams. Cruden is now making the same software available to customers of its professional, full motion race simulators so they can provide guests with analysis of lap times, speed, brakes, steering angles and gears. In addition, a new GPS tracking spectator view will give spectators another way to watch the virtual race, also providing a new format with which to attract advertisers.

"Cruden creates interactive motion experiences that entice customers to come back because they need to keep developing their driving skills and circuit knowledge," says Frank Kalff, Cruden commercial director. "This new infotainment element – performance analysis that customers can print out, e-mail home, or post on Facebook – gives attraction owners a new tool to generate repeat business. Long after the thrill of the drive, visitors can go home and pour over their data, working out where they can make up time on the track for the next time and compare themselves against their rivals – just like the professionals!"

This is Cruden’s 10th year exhibiting at IAAPA. The company will bring two race simulators which will be linked together allowing real-time competition between visitors to the show.

Joining the Hexatech 3CTR (three-seater) is Cruden’s Hexathrill simulator – developed especially for attractions – which is available for the first time for IAAPA visitors to drive. It was launched at the show last year and two units have already been sold.

Hexathrill is Cruden’s smallest, lightest, most affordable and transportable simulator. Designed to use less floor space and be easier to install and locate, it comfortably fits standard room heights and is less restricted in terms of floor loading. Understanding the budget constraints of Family Entertainment Centres (FECs), Hexathrill starts beneath €100,000 to deliver a faster ROI.
