Telford, UK – Viessmann, a leading international manufacturer of heating systems, is making the new process of registering gas appliances on the Gas Safe Register simple and free-of-charge for its trained installers.

By logging onto Viessmann’s online Installer Portal, new Viessmann products can be registered with Gas Safe following installation and the company will pick up the cost of doing so each time. The easy process also enables the warranty of the appliance to be automatically registered with Viessmann’s after sales department, halving the total administration time. The Building Regulation Compliance Certificate and the confirmation of warranty documentation is then either posted or emailed direct to the end-user or installer.

“Working together with Gas Safe and modern technology, we have created this process to make the lives of our trained installers that little bit easier," says Graham Russell, managing director of Viessmann. "We know the last thing installers need in their day is the hassle of additional admin tasks.”

The service is open to all Viessmann trained installers.

Other benefits of becoming a trained installer include direct communication through newsletters and email updates, access to further advanced training courses and exclusive promotional offers.

Over 200 installers have already logged onto the portal and submitted a Gas Safe notification. Viessmann is currently rolling out the provision to its full UK installer population.
