For Immediate Release: Punkt. presents new colour options for the acclaimed MP 01 mobile phone

Simplicity in both design and function: now also available in White and Brown.

Punkt. , the Swiss, design-led consumer technology company, first launched the MP 01 last Autumn – leading the telecommunications world in offering a stylish and up-to-date alternative to old-fashioned basic phones. The original black MP 01 is now being complemented by White and Brown options.

The MP 01 , designed by Jasper Morrison, combines stylish, contemporary design with peaceful simplicity. It makes calls, sends texts, and gives you a break from the growing ‘always on’ culture. It’s most often used alongside a smartphone that is set to forward calls and texts whenever it’s switched off, allowing users to literally walk away from all those status updates, notifications and alerts.

The MP 01 is a design masterpiece that stands head and shoulders above cheap, leftover dumbphones. Its focus on the two core functions – calls and texts – makes it arguably the most modern phone on the market, smartphones included…

The MP 01 offers an alternative to mass-produced, old-tech handsets. Its sleek elegance is matched by top-quality materials and premium manufacturing standards, producing a phone that – even before it is switched on – provides a concrete reminder of why the physical world is the world that matters. It’s not just a thin-as-possible pixel platform; it’s a solid, comfortable piece of equipment that is easy to pick up, feels great in the hand, and is never, ever going to bend.

Following on from the MP 01’s success with both reviewers and consumers, Punkt. are now releasing the two new colour options. Still subtle, but both quite intriguing. The White option brings a certain aesthetic delicateness, which contrasts neatly with the phone's rugged build quality and straightforward design lines. And the MP 01 Brown is the low-key head-turner...
