Amcor, Australia's largest packaging company, chooses electronic invoices processing from ReadSoft The Australian packaging company Amcor has decided to implement INVOICES from ReadSoft. ReadSoft's technology will automate Amcor's accounts payable process at their Business Services center in Melbourne, Australia. The order value is approximately 200,000 USD. Amcor is a leading global packaging company with annual sales of approximately USD 7 billion and has around 30,000 employees in 36 countries across Australasia, Asia, Europe and the Americas. Amcor selected ReadSoft's patented INVOICES technology to support the processing of around 400,000 supplier invoices per year at its shared services center, Amcor Business Services in Melbourne. The service center performs transaction processing for payroll, accounts payable and general accounting. Currently, the handling of supplier invoices is largely a manual process. From now on the process will be automated and streamlined due to electronic invoices processing made possible with INVOICES. Amcor will also benefit from instant matching against order and delivery data, made possible by integrating INVOICES with its back- office systems. The installation is carried out with ReadSoft's Australian partner, Alphawest.
