Rejlers has been commissioned by Karlavagnsplatsen Projektstyrning AB to prepare system documents for electricity, telecommunications and hotel lifts in Karlastaden Building 1, Karlatornet.

Karlastaden at Lindholmen in Gothenburg will become a vibrant and dense city center with housing, hotels, restaurants, shops, cafes, offices, medical center and school. The neighbourhood will be crowned by the Karla Tower - Gothenburg's first real skyscraper and the Nordic region's tallest building with its 240 meters. Karlastaden operates as a joint venture between Serneke and NREP.

The preparation of a system document includes conducting a system selection analysis for all the various installation systems. Based on this analysis, it is then determined which types of systems will be selected for the various properties.

The assignment also includes an option in respect of the preparation of construction documents, which can be subordered from spring 2017.

“We are pleased that Karlastaden has chosen Rejlers, and view this as proof of our expertise and experience from similar large-scale projects,” says Bengt Sinander, Group Manager at Rejlers.

Rejlers has also been commissioned to produce a system document for Karlastaden Building 0, which includes electricity and telecommunications supplies for the whole of Karlastaden, including multi-storey car parks.
