Lina Söderqvist appointed new CEO of Departments & Stores
Lina Söderqvist has been appointed new CEO of Departments & Stores and member of the Group Management in RNB RETAIL AND BRANDS. Lina comes from the position as Marketing Manager for Åhléns. She will take up her new position no later than April 16, 2018. From 1 December until Lina assumes her position, Nanna Hedlund will take on an increased responsibility as acting CEO of Departments & Stores alongside her role as CEO of Polarn O. Pyret.
Lina Söderqvist is 47 years old and has been working for Åhléns in the role of Marketing Manager since 2015, a job for which she in mid-October won the award "Sweden's Best Market Manager 2017". Between 2012 and 2015, Lina worked as Marketing Director at Björn Borg, and prior to that she has held the position as CEO of the advertising agency King. Lina Söderqvist holds a degree in business administration from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg.
