(the "Notes")

Further to Royal Bank of Canada's (the "Issuer") notice of early redemption for the Notes dated 01 May 2017 (RNS Number: 7979D) in which it indicated that the Notes would be redeemed in full on June 26, 2017 (the "Redemption Date"), the Issuer hereby provides notice that it also intends to cancel the listing of the Notes, which are listed on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and admitted to trading on the Regulated Market of the London Stock Exchange, with effect on and from the Redemption Date.
