New Head of Saab Market Area Asia Pacific

Defence and security company Saab has appointed Dean Rosenfield as new head of Market Area Asia Pacific from 1 January 2018.

Dean Rosenfield is today the Managing Director of Saab Australia. In his present role, Dean has been working to grow and diversify the local business. Since taking over in March 2013 the Australian business has continued to grow its footprint both in the Defence and Security domains. Saab’s Australian business currently employs more than 370 staff. Dean Rosenfield will take up his new position from 1 January and will be based in Singapore.

Current head of the Market Area Dan Enstedt, will at the same time, take up the position as senior advisor to Håkan Buskhe, President and CEO of Saab.

Saab’s Market Area Asia Pacific is a key market with large growth and partnership potential. Saab is committed to long-term engagement in Asia Pacific to serve and deliver to the needs of the various countries in the region. Saab products are in use in a number of countries in the region, for example India, Korea, Japan, China (AIS), Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand.

Saab is present in Asia Pacific with the wide portfolio of high-tech solutions and products such as the Gripen, Remote Towers, C4I, EW (Self Protection Systems), Signature Management, Communication Systems, Surveillance Systems and Radar Systems.

The recruitment of a new Managing Director of Saab Australia will begin shortly.
