SBB continues its expansion in Norway through an acquisition of two elderly care homes

Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget in Norden AB (publ) ("SBB") expands its community service property portfolio in the Nordic metropolitan regions through the purchase of two elderly care homes in Tønsberg in the Oslo region.

The properties have a total leasable area of 5,846 square meters with an estimated annual operating net income of approximately SEK 11.8 million (approximately SEK 12.9 million). The properties are fully let to Attendo, with recently renewed 5-year leases. SBB is already Norway's leading player in the community service property sector and this is the company’s first step into elderly care homes. The agreed property value in the transaction amounted to SEK 178 million (approximately SEK 194 million).

"It is very exciting that we now increase our community service property portfolio with two elderly care homes in the Oslo region and we look forward to work closely with Attendo. This transaction is in addition to the elderly care homes we acquired in the last quarter in Stockholm and Helsinki. SBB aims to become the Nordic region's largest community service property owner," comments Ilija Batljan, CEO and founder of SBB.
