Scan Global Logistics acquires German automobile logistics company, IQS Group
COPENHAGEN– November 15, 2018 – International freight forwarding company, Scan Global Logistics A/S based in Copenhagen, Denmark, today announce that it has acquired 100% ownership of the leading special solution provider for high-end automotive logistics – German based, International Quality Service Group (IQS Group).
IQS Group was founded in 1998 and has an ongoing story of strong relations with the international automotive industry, working with numerous well-known high-end brands and manufacturers. At present IQS Group operates 5 offices in Germany, and in the US and Dubai.
Additionally, IQS Group is a member of IATA, DSLV, LAG and WPA and hold CAA approval as well as ISO certifications.
Scan Global Logistics informs that the acquisition is a natural strategic step towards a general stronger presence in the high end automotive market.
The yearly revenue of IQS is EUR 50 million.
The acquisition is equity financed and the transaction is expected to be finalized by 1st of January 2019.
